Myofascial Release/CranioSacral Fascial SpecialistHEATHER SABIN BRYAN, PTA, LMT, RYT
Hello, my name is Heather Sabin Bryan and I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant as well as a licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience. It has been my mission to deliver personalized, effective, compassionate, non-judgmental hands-on care with results that authentically last. After sustaining an injury myself in the year 2013, it took my understanding of pain and the adverse effects of pain and immobility on the body, mind and spirit to a whole new level of awareness. Everything I knew to try and do as a therapist in physical therapy for the treatment of pain and dysfunction was not working and my pain and limitations were compounding daily. Any results that I would gain with traditional therapy were not lasting greater than a few hours or even past the walk from the treatment table to my car. The only remaining option was surgery and pain management, of which I found unacceptable.
I was 42 years old and having a metal cage placed in my thoracic and cervical vertebra was just out of the question. Thus began my search for an alternative solution for the pain, loss of functional ability of my body but in my spirit that was being crushed as well. Ultimately I found what I believe is the missing link in health care today, the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy (JFB-MFR). My initial exposure to MFR, Myofascial Release was from the founder himself whom I now call mentor and friend, John F Barnes. From the moment he laid his hands on me, I knew I found not only what my body needed to begin to heal but what type of care I needed to provide professionally. I was so moved by the immediate and profound results of Myofascial Release that it compelled me to study and train in depth directly from the founder himself, John F. Barnes. I am now pain-free, have returned to all personal and professional activities without any limitations and I am simply loving life!
I have been blessed and so fortunate to receive my training directly from John F. Barnes himself with over 700+ hours to date. The process of learning and refining one’s skills should never stop and thus fuels my dedication and desire to continue to learn. With each additional class or retaking of a class previously taken, they act to further deepen my understanding as well as strengthen my skills and refining my touch, so that I am always providing the most up to date techniques of Myofascial Release, with the most current felt sense of the work, to better serve my clients and their healing needs.
My specialty is not only in Myofascial Release but in the manner which I have designed my practice setting to be. A practice that is more that just a treatment setting but one that is just like home. It has all the comforts and privacy of home and there is no need to rush off to return to driving. There is plenty of extra rooms and areas to lounge in and enjoy the new found fluidity and flexibility gained in your treatment session. There is a room that you can watch informative videos or enjoy the latest and mot informative literature on Fascia. In addition there is a self treatment room where you can utilize and try out all the various types of self treatment tools to see which ones work best for you and your body. Just as my office is designed to have the feel and comforts of home YOU the client are NEVER just a number! My journey as a therapist to patient back to therapist, gives me the first hand knowledge of what amazing results that this approach, MFR, Myofascial Release, can help you to reclaim and what it feels like when we are seen as a whole person and treated as such. You can live a more pain-free life with the highest quality possible. You deserve to have fascial freedom, you are worth it! I am available most times when you and your fascia are in need. Pain does not seem to follow a Monday – Friday schedule nor does it seem to take a holiday.
It is my intention and hope to have a well rounded approach to reach whole body mind and spirit healing. Can’t wait to hear from you! Revive, Restore, Renew…..Heal into Wholeness with me.

Myofascial Experience and Hands-OnTraining
Heather Sabin Bryan, PTA, LMT has been treating patients since 1997 and is the owner and chief therapist of Myofascial Release and Wellness of Tampa Bay providing care to the community within the Greater Tampa Bay Area of Florida. Heather has been directly and personally trained by John F Barnes himself and has served 2 internships at his treatment facilities as well as having attended over 700+ to date of hands on training in the seminars, internships. I have also experienced an intensive treatment program as the patient at the Sedona, AZ clinic where I received a week of 20 hours of myofascial release treatment. This gave me the first hand experience of regaining 1.4 inches in height of the 2.5 inches that my spine had lost since my injury in 2013! The results where so amazing that I returned in October for an additional 45 hour intensive myofascial release program.
